On the day of TCS Interview

Preparation- Prepare basic concepts of your favorite subjects. Learn all the basics. Atleast prepare two subjects of your choice. (This is for technical round)

For HR round- Learn about company, about your introduction, hobbies, strength, weakness etc. You can see my article about Tips for interviews.

On interview day we were asked to come college at 8 am. After spending some time on auditorium interview got started. There were around 10 panels of interview. I got third panel. At around 3pm I entered for my first interview which was Technical Round.

Firstly they asked about my favorite subject. I told them that C++ is my favorite subject. Then they started asking me the basic questions about C++. They asked me around 10 questions and then they asked me for my second favorite subject. DBMS was my second favorite. They asked me few questions on DBMS. And then they asked me about whether I have any question for them. I said yes and asked about our job location. Then after that they told me to wait in audi for result.

After half an hour I was called for next round which was HR round. In HR round, the interviewer told me to speak anything for 5 minutes. After thinking for 1 minute I started speaking. That was a very long 5 minutes. I told everything about myself. Introduction, hobbies, skills, etc etc. After 5 minutes, mam asked me to stop speaking and rate yourself how you speaked on the scale of 10. I rated myself 7. She asked me to tell that why you rated yourself 7. Obviously it was an expected question but  for me it was little difficult but anyhow I managed to satisfy the interviewer. Then Mam pointed out my some mistakes and suggested few things. And then I leaved the room thanking to the interviewer.

After waiting for 5 minutes I was called for third round which was MR round. In the MR round, the interviewer asked me about my goals and job location based question and how can I manage in different location jobs. My willingness of working in different location. That’s all.

So, that is my interview experience. After 4 days, Result declared and I also got selected in TCS with 34 other students.It was a great experience.  

Preparation for TCS campus selection

To crack TCS online test is not very difficult.There is two phase in online test. One is email writing and another is aptitude. For email writing 10 minutes will be given and rest for aptitude. For email writing 'technicalbaba' is a very good site to practice. For aptitude you can search on internet.

My experience- I got selected in TCS through college campus. Before online test our college arranged some classes for aptitude. Those classes were taken by Face Acadamy. It was 5 days continous classes and each day 6 hours lectures. It was a great experience for us. We learned a lot of things in those classes.
One day before the exam, I revised all the questions tought by face academy and practiced some email.
7 days after the exam, result was declared and I cleared that test.
